The Phoenixville Area Police Athletic League (PAL) and Chester County 4-H are once again partnering to bring you this one-day training event! The class will focus on basic caregiving techniques and rules, first aid, and safety.
The class will be held at the Phoenixville Area Middle School on April 5, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The course is open to any youth ages 11 and older.
There is a $25 registration fee. All registrants are asked to pay by check. Checks can be made payable to Phoenixville PAL and mailed to Penn State Extension - Chester County Office, 601 Westtown Rd, Suite 370, West Chester, PA 19380.
All participants must pack a lunch. Snack will be provided.
The class size is limited to the first 25 registrants. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. 4-H membership is not required, however, all registrants will need to have their families sign the PSU waivers and provide medical and emergency contacts so our instructors are prepared.
The instructors for the course are Toni Stuetz - Extension 4-H Educator, James Deorio - Police officer and Executive Director Phoenixville PAL, and Heather Stayle - local first responder.
All participants must pre-register to attend. Registration is open through March 28.
If you have any event-specific questions, please contact Toni Stuetz at tmm113@psu.edu. If you need to make any changes or cancellations to your registration, please contact Stacie Hritz at sxd297@psu.edu.
